A CLOSER LOOK

Fresh scenarios.
Meaningful practice.

Students need to do more than recall a case name. They need to recognise the issue, select the law, apply it to unfamiliar facts and explain their conclusion.

These original scenarios give you new material to practise that process — whether you’re checking independent performance in a mock or working through an answer together.

  • Keep questions separate from teacher guidance
  • Compare a student response with a worked example
  • Target legal knowledge, application and evaluation
  • Print the PDFs or display them in your lesson

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS

Before you buy.

Resources designed to make preparation easier and practice more purposeful.

Can I use these for mock examinations?

Yes. The scenarios are original and suitable for use as individual 30-mark tasks within a mock examination, as well as for revision and classroom practice. They are scenario resources, not complete examination papers. Keep the questions and model answers separate when assessing students.

What exactly is included?

Each package contains three PDFs: student questions, teacher mark schemes and model answers. Criminal Law, Contract and Human Rights each contain six scenarios; Tort contains two. The complete collection includes all 12 PDFs, covering 20 scenarios in total.

What standard are the model answers?

The answers target the highest marking band through accurate law, relevant authority and sustained application. They provide an ambitious end-of-course example for students. They have not been awarded official examiner marks, and no resource can guarantee a particular grade.

Are these official examination-board materials?

No. These are independent Teacher Writers resources suitable for students studying AQA A Level Law. They are not endorsed by AQA. Teachers should check the latest specification, assessment guidance and relevant changes to the law before use.
